The EITC program includes Educational Improvement Organizations, as well as Scholarship Organizations and Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organizations. The Mix is an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO), and businesses must apply specifically for EIO credits if they wish to support The Mix. Businesses may also apply for the other types of credits, but the total amount can be no more than $750,000.

This year, all applicants will be required to submit applications electronically through newpa.com. Businesses renewing a two-year commitment may apply beginning May 15; new businesses may apply beginning July 1. Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis by date submitted. Last year, credits were fully exhausted within one week.

Why Choose The Mix?

The Mix (Arbor Place) is a Youth Development Center that has been privileged to serve the youth of Lancaster County for over 38 years. Our mission is to Inspire Youth and Empower Families. We strive to accomplish this by providing students with educational tools and resources to excel in the classroom and beyond; creating a safe & positive environment; building relationships with students, families, and neighbors; providing opportunities for students to learn about the Gospel; and helping students realize their abilities and achieve their potential. In 2022, we were able to serve over 1,769 students and families during our free afterschool and summer programs, community events, and workshops. We partnered with 19 different schools through our school-community partnerships and served over 15,000 nutritious meals and snacks through our “What’s for Dinner” and summer feeding programs.
