The Mix at Arbor Place is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization.

We partner with individuals, churches, businesses, educational institutions and a wide range of organizations to serve as a cross-cultural advocate that challenges teens to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Our Ongoing Programs Include:

The MIX:

The MIX provides open activities in a safe environment to teens cross-culturally

Bible Fellowship:

In a small group setting, teens grow a personal relationship with God

Tutoring:

Tutors are available to partner with teens to pursue academic excellence

Mentoring:

Learn about goal setting, character development, and leadership

Basketball League:

Boys’ and girls’ summer league for youths age 10-13 and 14-16

Drill Team:

Learn new dance moves, step routines, and the value of being part of a team as a Diamond Soul Stepper

Operation Success:

Acquire team skills and principles in business through on-the-job training and supervised work-site placement

What’s for Dinner:

Churches, businesses and other groups or individuals prepare and serve meals for 50-75 youth on a nightly basis

Unplug and Open Up:

Students spend time each week turning off multimedia and opening up a book

Financial $uccess:

Teens are introduced to financial planning through good money management principles as well as an understanding of interest, savings accounts and investing

Fitness for Life:

Learn proper weight-lifting techniques and workout in our fully equipped Solid Rock fitness center

Solid Rock House of Prayer:

A church plant of the Lord’s House of Prayer holds midweek Bible studies and Sunday morning services in our center

Gangs to God:

Gangs to God is an employment training program rooted in education and work activities
